HopeHealth earns 2021 SHPBestTM “Superior” awards for hospice and home care — including a fifth for HopeHealth Community VNA

Attleboro, MA -- According to patients, families and caregivers in Massachusetts, HopeHealth’s hospice care and HopeHealth Community VNA’s home health care are among the nation’s best.

That’s measured through patient experience surveys by Strategic Healthcare Program (SHP), a leader in healthcare benchmarking. In 2021 in the Bay State, HopeHealth and HopeHealth Community VNA ranked in the top 20% of providers that SHP reviewed for the categories of hospice and home health, respectively — a pool of more than 1,000 hospice providers and more than 3,000 home health providers nationwide.

The high marks are recognized by two 2021 SHPBestTM “Superior Performer” patient satisfaction awards, one for each category.

In hospice, the SHPBest Superior award recognizes HopeHealth’s outstanding services for families and caregivers of patients receiving hospice care in Massachusetts. Last year, that included a new initiative focused on individualized care planning, helping every patient and family create personal, meaningful goals for their end-of-life journey.

In home care, the SHPBest Superior award comes with another distinction: This is the fifth year in a row that HopeHealth Community VNA, HopeHealth’s Massachusetts-based home care program, has achieved the ranking.
