Raymond E. Enos

Posted

Raymond E. Enos, 83 years young of Rehoboth, lost his 10-month courageous battle with stomach cancer on Friday, January 13, 2023 at his home. He was the loving husband for 63 years of Marlene (Beauvais) Enos.

Born and raised in East Providence, he was the son of the late Everett and Helen (Veyera) Enos. Raymond worked for the O.A.R. Tool and Die Company for 28 years before he retired. In his younger days he took up playing golf and joined the Rehoboth Country Club and a group calling themselves "Hackers Anonymous." They even had their own Tee Shirts made. He later joined Segregansett Country Club. Raymond also enjoyed taking care of his yard. He took great pride in his Hydrangea gardens and his well-manicured lawn. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Seekonk for over 30 years. Raymond will always be remembered as a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

Besides his wife he leaves his daughter, Deborah J. Enos and his son, David (Winnie) Enos, his grandchildren, Kristin L. Frazier, Alyssa (Michael) Powell, Garrett Enos and the late Jonathan S. Frazier. He was the brother of Patricia Anthony and the late Bruce Enos.

We would like to thank our kind and thoughtful neighbors for always being there.

His funeral will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be in Rehoboth Village Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3-6 PM. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to the Rhode Island MS Society or the Parkinsons or Diabetes Foundations.
