Sacred Heart School Hosts an Annual Appeal Reception for Alumni, Donors, and Staff

Posted

(East Providence) September 18, 2021- Sacred Heart School is in the process of launching a new development program to support the ever-changing needs of Catholic schools. Sacred Heart School is entering its 104th year as a school, and it is one of the oldest Catholic elementary schools in the Diocese of Providence.

More than 40 alumni, donors, friends, and staff gathered at Riviera Restaurant on Friday, September 17th, for a cocktail reception and presentation. Presenters included the school’s principal, Mrs. Emily DaSilva, longstanding faculty member, Sharon Chalmers, a De LaSalle brother and alumnus of Sacred Heart, Br. Vincent Pelletier, a parent speaker, Mrs. Cathy Martins, and a non-alumnus donor, Mr. Frank Sullivan.

“The annual appeal reception is just one of the many events that will help Sacred Heart reach its goal of $40,000,” said Emily DaSilva, Principal. “Sacred Heart School is truly a family, and the presence of so many people at the reception is living proof that we truly are a family; I have no doubt that we will reach our goal!”
