Dexter E Patterson Sr. loving husband of 36 years to Susan R Patterson (Papineau) of Riverside, RI.. Dexter was welcomed into Heaven on September 18th. 2023.

Dexter was born November 16, 1943 ,in Pawtucket R I ,and was the son of the late James D and Grace(Goodwin) Patterson. He leaves a brother James D Patterson Jr. and sister in law Susan M Patterson of Riverside. Dexter grew up in Barrington attending Barrington schools, where he excelled in many sports. His love of sports continued on for many years and was reflected in his coaching of various teams in the Riverside area. His love of the game carried into his senior years, playing on various teams and competing and winning Senior Softball tournaments and World Series..

Dexter served with the United States Air Force. He attended Roger Williams University and was employed in various management positions throughout his employment career..

Dexter was also an avid fisherman and boater, but his greatest love was his Children and Grandchildren..

He leaves behind, a son, Dexter Patterson Jr and his wife Sandra of Riverside, His daughter Kelly Morra of Westport Ma. His daughter Kandace and her husband Edward Colvin of Warwick R I and daughter Kerry Patterson of Riverside R I . and stepdaughter Sandra Mc Mahon of Sioux Falls, SD.

His beloved grandchildren, Sadie, Sophia, and Sylvie Patterson, Matthew and Jack Colvin, Samuel and Maxwell Morra, stepgranddaughter Ashley( Papineau ) Kusler, Paityn and Faith McMahon. Joshua Patterson, his grandson and his Son in Law, Karl Morra predeceased him. He also leaves behind several nieces.nephews, and great grandchildren and his beloved dog Brady who will miss those great walks to the beach with him everyday.

Dexter, Dad, Papa, Pops, Grandpa, will be forever greatly missed.
