Florence E. (Fratus) Oliver

Florence E. (Fratus) Oliver, 97, of Booth Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on July 14, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank S. Oliver.

Born in East Providence, a daughter of the late John and Florence (Stones) Fratus, she was a lifelong resident of East Providence.

Mrs. Oliver was clerical worker at Avid Corp. for many years.

Florence enjoyed going out to eat, traveling, reading and gardening.

She is survived by her children, Leslie Czyzewicz of Pawtucket, Brian Oliver of Riverside and Joan Henderson of Riverside; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister Joan Lindsay of West Warwick. She was the sister of the late Constance Brown, John Fratus and Shirley Elman.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on Saturday July 22, 2023 at 2 p.m. Calling Hours are Saturday 12 noon- 2 p.m. Burial will be held in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
