Dighton-Rehoboth Schools to Collect Christmas Donations

Posted

The Dighton Rehoboth Regional School District has partnered with the Greater Attleboro Council for Children in their annual “Christmas is for kids” (CIFK) program. Dighton Rrehoboth Regional High School will be used as a distribution site for qualifying families, ages 1 through 18, in both Dighton and Rehoboth.

“Kelly Fox and the Council for Children team have helped so many families in this area, and we are so excited to augment their efforts by both collecting donations and being a local distribution site,” Superintendent Bill Runey said Monday. “We look forward to making dreams come true during the holidays.”

After Thanksgiving, the District will launch the donations drive in all five schools in Dighton-Rehoboth.

Those who wish to apply for assistance should go to DRregional.org and click on the “Making DReams Come True for the Holidays” link under “Students and Families” or call the Superintendent’s Office at 508.252.5000.
