The Southeastern MA Paws of Comfort Lions Club News

The Southeastern MA Paws of Comfort Lions Club SEMAPOCLC is proud and excited to announce we are recipients of the best medium sized Lions’ club award of Massachusetts. The vote took place during the 96th annual Lions state convention that ran from 4/19-20-21/24 at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel in Falmouth. MA. The Cape Cod Paws of Comfort Lions received the best small club award and we are proud to have sponsored them.

Under the leadership of Lion Debby Horner The Southeastern MA Paws of Comfort Lions, the K9 and people club, was featured in the winter edition of the Lions International magazine. The SEMAPOCLC was co-founded by Present District Governor Debby Horner and Lion Monique Tedino. Our certified comfort dogs travel to schools, nursing homes, assisted living centers, senior centers, hospitals, and wherever a need exists.

We are members of an army of volunteers that help to improve the health and well being within our community and throughout the world. Among our many causes we support eye and diabetes research.
