Thurston D. Grant, 89, of Rehoboth, MA, passed away on Tuesday, December 12., 2023. He was the husband of Joan A. (Burt) Grant.

Born in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late Henry and Jane (Thurston) Grant.

Mr. Grant worked as a Vocational Automotive Teacher for the Dighton/Rehoboth Regional School Department before retiring. He was a Mason for 50 years. He was also a Past Patron of the order Eastern Star.

Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Robin E. Grant, one son, Mark T. Grant, Sr. and his wife Nancy of Shapleigh, ME, four grandchildren, Mark T. Grant, Jr., Brett C. R. Grant, Justin M. Grant and Caitlin Greene, four great grandchildren, Lucy, Gracie, Anna and Aiden Grant and one brother, Douglas Grant. He was the brother of the late Lowell Grant.

His funeral and visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Masonic Service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donation’s can be made in Thurston’s memory to an organization of your choice.
