Hope Gardens Brown Bag Lunch

Posted

The residents of Hope Gardens on Park St. Attleboro on Thursday, April 23, 2015 were treated to a Brown Bag Lunch of a delicious Chicken Salad on a big bun which was donated by Willow Tree. Everyone gave a big thank you to Willow Tree when it was announced. We, also, had individual bags of Lays potato chips and soda or coffee was served. Dessert was a Klondike bar which pleased us all.

There was a door prize, 50/50 raffle, and a special raffle of a roll of quarters which is always welcomed. A great time was had by all of us in attendance. All money for the chances was given back to us.

A game of Family Feud completed the fun time. The contestants on each of two teams gave excellent(?) answers to the questions. Amy Alba was mistress of ceremonies and assisted by Wendy Vedrine as score keeper. We all cheered on our particular team when answers were given.

We want to thank everyone involved, especially the committee who organized our Spring Lunch. It takes a lot of work getting all arrangements made and served. We really appreciate all their work. Thanks again to Willow Tree and our hard working committee for another great get together.
