Noelle Blais of Rehoboth awarded Girl Scout Gold Award

Posted

Noelle Blais of Rehoboth was awarded her Girl Scout Gold Award on June 7, 2026, for her project, "Act Local, Impact Global." The Gold Award is the highest and most prestigious achievement in Girl Scouting, earned by high school students who lead sustainable projects that address the root causes of community issues.

Noelle’s project focused on increasing climate change awareness among local children. To address this, she created an age-appropriate, hands-on wooden activity board game, which she donated to the Blanding Library after engaging young children in learning how it works. Additionally, Noelle hosted a workshop where children created miniature gardens in bottles while learning how their actions affect the environment.
