Donna J. Lord (Murphy)

Donna J. Lord (Murphy), 77, of Rounds Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on May 18, 2024, at Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen E. Lord.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Carr) Murphy, she lived in Riverside for many years.

Mrs. Lord was a kindergarten teacher at Alice M. Waddington Elementary School, Riverside for 40 years.

Donna was a communicant of St. Brendan’s Church and former member of the church choir.

She enjoyed playing the piano, sewing and dancing.

She is survived by a son, Scott W. Lord and his wife Melissa of Cranston and a daughter, Stacy E. Wulff and her husband John of Waterbury, VT; two sisters, Susan Caswell of Lincoln and Sharon Murphy of Tiverton and four grandchildren.

Her Calling Hours will be held on Saturday May 25, 2024 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 1-3 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday May 28, 2024 in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m.
