East Bay Community Action Program Announces New Staff Appointments

(East Providence, RI, October 27, 2023) - East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is pleased to announce three new appointments to its Integrated Health Services staff.

Elizabeth Zebian, DDS, of Middletown, RI, has joined the dental staff at EBCAP’s Community Dental Clinic in Newport, RI. As one of three dentists at EBCAP’s Dental Clinic, Dr. Zebian provides comprehensive dental care to both children and adults ensuring optimal oral health for all her patients. Dr. Zebian earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX, and her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Washington.

Bianca S. Barros, APRN, of Cumberland RI, is a newly appointed bi-lingual Family Nurse Practitioner at EBCAP’s East Bay Family Health Care in East Providence. Barros earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College and her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston, MA. She provides primary health and preventative care services to patients of all ages, including wellness exams, treating acute and chronic illnesses, managing treatment plans, and prescribing medications.

Shane McNamara Gazzo, PA-C, of Providence, RI, was appointed to EBCAP’s East Bay Health Center in Barrington, RI. As a Physician Assistant, McNamara Gazzo works closely with doctors, nurse practitioners, other physician assistants, and nurses to help diagnosis and treat EBCAP patients as well as provide referrals and consultations. McNamara Gazzo, who is bi-lingual, received his Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources with a Spanish minor from the University of Connecticut and his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI.
