If you enjoy crafting this may be the perfect opportunity for you to earn some service hours. This program is for EP students in grades 6-12. Activities include but are not limited to: BOOKMARK MAKING, FABRIC CRAFTS, YARN CRAFTS, FOLDING FLYERS, PAINTING KIT MAKING, PROGRAM PREP

Limbo & Homeschool Hangout @ Weaver
Wednesdays, 2:30-5 PM
LIMBO /ˈlimbō/ (noun) For us it means: a place to hang out between school and home.
Drop in Wednesdays after school for snacks and activities during our teen hangouts. Play video games with our Switch, use laptops, craft, play the ukulele, do homework, or community service; it’s up to you. This program is intended for middle and high school students.

Teen Advisory Board
Thursday, January 8, 3:30-4:45 PM
Meeting once monthly at Weaver, our Teen Advisory Board helps the Teen Librarian plan library services and programs for Tweens and Teens! Their time spent on the TAB counts as community service! Email Weaverteens@gmail.com  for an application!

The Creative Chapter: Teen Audiobook & Craft Club @ Weaver

Thursday, January 15, 3:30-5 PM
Teens (ages 13+) are invited to join us at the Weaver library every third Thursday for Audio Books and Crafts! Each meeting, we'll listen to an audio book while getting creative! Diamond art painting, Zen tangling, coloring, paint by numbers, and more will be available for creating while we listen. You can also choose to do community service projects while we listen. Or simply get cozy and hear a story!

Stronger Together Teen Mental Health Training

Stronger Together for teens helps participants learn about mental health, recognizing changes to mental health, and approaching someone who is struggling while also incorporating high-impact practices such as reflection, brainstorming, discussion, and skills practice. Attendees earn community service credit.

Teen & Tween K-Pop Party @ Weaver

Are you an IDOL? Teens and Tweens are welcome to join us at the Weaver Library for a K Pop Party! We'll have Ramen and Boba Tea, while we sing along to K-Pop (Demon Hunters and more!) do some crafts, and party! What ramen flavor is your favorite? Have you tried boba? Let's have a taste test! Book Bedazzling @ Riverside

Bling your book at the Riverside Branch Library! Teens and Tweens ages 10+ are welcome to come bling up a book! You can bring your own book, or use ours! We'll have plenty of YA titles to choose from. Register.

Teen Self Defense @ Weaver

Join Bart Axelrod of EP Martial Arts for an Intro to Self Defense class for Teens ages 13+!  No experience required, wear comfortable clothing. Please register!

Teen Dungeons and Dragons Adventure Camp @ Weaver
Wednesdays, February 4, 11, 18, 25, 5-7 PM
This four-week camp guides participants through the basics of the Dungeons & Dragons Role-playing game. A commitment for all four sessions is required. At the end of this weekly program, attendees will have learned how to create their own character, level-up, design an adventure, and run their own Dungeons & Dragons Game.Attendees could potentially be eligible for community service hours should they then choose to DM for library events after successful completion of the camp.
