Rehoboth Selectmen Approve Health Agent Contract

The Board of Selectmen approved a one year contract for Thomas Carcieri to serve as the town’s Health Agent for the Board of Health.

The contract runs from July 1 through June 30, 2027.

Carcieri will serve a six month probationary period beginning on the first day of his employment.

According to the contract, “The Board may terminate the Health Agent’s employment during the probationary period, with or without cause, and without recourse to grievance, appeal, or any other review process.”

“In the first quarter of each fiscal year, the Board shall review and evaluate the performance of the Health Agent in accordance with mutually acceptable goals and objectives defined below.”

Carceri will be paid an annual salary of $69,000 and will be granted 288 hours of paid time off during the term of the agreement.
