Carelink Announces 2023 Board Of Directors - Other awards presented at Annual Meeting

East Providence, R.I. (July 21, 2023): CareLink, a nonprofit healthcare network of post-acute and community-based providers serving older adults and adults with disabilities, elected its 2023-24 Board of Directors at the organization’s annual meeting held recently at the Pawtucket Country Club.

The following individuals were elected to serve on the Board: Chair Matt Trimble, president and CEO of Saint Elizabeth Community (East Greenwich); Vice Chair Diana Franchitto, president and CEO of HopeHealth (Providence); Secretary Colette Silverman, executive director of Scandinavian Communities (Cranston); and Treasurer Joshua Segal, executive director of Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (Providence). Trustees are as follows: Garrett Sullivan, executive director of Saint Antoine Community (North Smithfield); Laura Dos Santos, director of operations for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence and acting administrator of St. Clare (Newport); Roberta Merkle, Esq., executive vice president of strategic initiatives at Saint Elizabeth Community (East Greenwich); and Haigouhi Corriveau, administrator of The Seasons East Greenwich. Trustees-at-Large are: The Honorable Maureen Maigret, former R.I. State Representative (1975-1984) and current chair of the state Long Term Care Coordinating Council’s Aging in Community Subcommittee; and Robert Leach, vice president/senior relationship manager at HarborOne Bank (Providence).

CareLink staff with a seat on the Board is CEO Dr. Chris Gadbois.

Gadbois presented awards to several individuals at the Annual Meeting, as follows: “Spirit of CareLink” award presented to Jessica Gosselin, MS, director of Saint Elizabeth Adult Day Centers (located in East Greenwich) for embodying the collaborative network model of CareLink; “Mountain Mover” award presented to Dr. Jeffrey Dodge, CareLink lead dentist who maintains a private practice in general dentistry in Woonsocket, R.I., for practicing advocacy and pushing through obstacles; “Rising Star” awards to CareLink Physical Therapist Kelley Hurley (Cranston resident) and Physical Therapy Assistant Megan Vasconcellos (Warwick resident) for continuously demonstrating their potential for growth and talent; and “Clinical Excellence” awards to CareLink Dental Assistant Ben Duarte (Pawtucket resident) and Occupational Therapist Tina Horbert (Cranston resident) for going above and beyond, especially delivering exceptional customer service.
