Debra A. Medeiros, 65, of Rumford, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 at her home. She was the wife of Joseph Medeiros.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William R. and Virginia E. (Salisbury) Flannagin. Deb grew up in Fox Point and lived there until she moved to Rumford.
She worked in the Accounts Reconciliation Department at Bank of Rhode Island until she retired. She was an avid animal lover and a strong advocate of the Rhode Island S.P.C.A. Deb enjoyed traveling with her husband and being with her family. Her sister-in-law described her as "The best sister-in-law."
Besides her husband she leaves one sister, Carolyn Beckett and her niece, Kelly Gray. She was the sister of the late Joyce Dutra.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 4-7 PM.
