On Easter Sunday, April 5th, in addition to the traditional 10am Easter Worship in our Sanctuary at 50 Park Street in downtown Attleboro, Second Church is hosting a 6am Sunrise Easter Service at the Newell Shelter in Capron Park. All are welcome to attend!

Second Church is a hub of activity in Downtown Attleboro. On Friday, April 10th (and every second Friday) at 2:30pm, folks who enjoy craft work and watercolor painting will gather to share creativity and conversation during "Crafternoon" and "Color Our World". Bring your watercolor materials and crafts of your choice, or join in on a group craft project (materials are supplied).

Also hosted on April 10th ("Second Friday"): a Young Adult Open Mic evening 6-8pm, in Second Church's Fellowship Hall. All ages are invited to attend this event, which features young performers (~ teens to early 20s). This is a wonderful opportunity to work on public performance skills in a friendly and supportive environment. This is a cultural event (not a religious event) open to the entire community. Free refreshments are provided.

On April 11th ("Second Saturday") both adults and the younger set can take the stage in Fellowship Hall, again from 6-8pm. This Open Mic & Coffee House (with free refreshments) features music, story telling, poetry — whatever you want to share. Amplifiers, mics, and a piano are available.

On Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm throughout the month all are invited to attend a non-denominational group that discusses the "The Chosen" www.thechosen.tv , a multi-season dramatic series about the life and ministry of Jesus.

The month of April rounds out with Second Church's outreach Food Pantry, which has a pickup on Monday, April 26th at 3:00pm.

And with April ending can a May Breakfast be far behind? The annual Second Congregational Church May Breakfast will take place on Saturday, May 2nd, 8:00-10:30am. Don't miss the famous cinnamon rolls!

Finally, more information about Second Congregational Church events is always available at the church website: www.attleborosecondchurch.org.
