Seekonk Congregational Church in Person Sunday Services

We hope you will join us each Sunday at Seekonk Congregational Church UCC at one of our 2 weekly services - 9AM & 10:30 AM in the Sanctuary at 600 Fall River Avenue, Seekonk, MA for our weekly service. Please come if you feel comfortable, all are welcome, masks are optional. Communion will be served at both services. Church school will be held during the 9 AM service with licensed day care available for both services. We invite you to join us.
We will continue to record our services and they are available the following day at Seekonk Congregational Church YouTube and on Cable 9 Seekonk at 9 AM each morning.

Advent and Christmas Worship

December 3: 9:00 & 10:30AM
Our beautiful “Hanging of the Greens” Service with pageantry, special music, lighting of the tree, and fifth graders presenting the symbols of our advent and Christmas faith. The 1st Advent Candle of HOPE will be lighted. One of the year’s most beautiful worship services!

December 10: 9:00 & 10:30AM
The 2nd Advent Candle of PEACE is lighted. The Cherub Choir will sing at the beginning of worship. Music of the HARP will fill the sanctuary and the anointing oil of healing is offered to all who choose to choose to receive this blessing for yourself or on behalf of loved ones.

December 17: 9:00 & 10:30AM
Worship with Lessons and Carols and Children’s Christmas Pageant. The 3rd Advent Candle of JOY is lighted.

December 24: Christmas Eve Services: 5 & 10PM
Please note: No morning Service
The 4thAdvent Candle of LOVE is lighted. Worship will center on the Birth Story
· The 5PM service is a Family Service – with Procession of the Holy Family. Choirs of children/youth and sacred dance.
· The 10:00pm worship will be Candlelight Communion Service with special music. All are welcome! Bring Friends!

December 31: 9:00 & 10:30AM
Bell Sunday ~ Come to prepare for the New Year 2024– Bring a Bell

Candlelight Taize Service

Please invite friends and neighbors on Thursday, December 14TH AT 7 PM to a beautiful candlelight Taize service of reflection, readings, meditation and comfort – with special Christmas music shared by Alice Supinski, Betty Graham, and David Graham–

For those who have lost loved ones in this life, there will be a time to come forward and light a candle of remembrance ... and a time to reflect on the joys and the wonders of life as well. This time of worship is truly a gift in the midst of the holiday preparations.

No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome at Seekonk Congregational Church.
