Seekonk Scouts are currently participating in leadership training and will soon hold troop elections. During the elections, Scouts will vote to determine leadership roles within the troop. Leadership positions include Senior Patrol Leader and Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders who are responsible for running the troop. Other leadership positions include smaller unit leaders, outdoor ethics, and quartermaster. Each position has responsibility to other Scouts and ensures the Troop runs smoothly.
Seekonk Scouts will hold their annual Scouting for Food collection on November 7th. Scouting for Food will support Doorways Food Pantry and provide for Seekonk residents. To support Scouting for Food and Doorways Food Pantry, please place nonperishable food near your mailbox or at the end of your driveway by 9am on November 7th. Seekonk Scouts will collect these donations and bring them to Doorways.
