Mark A. Derham 70, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne M. (St. Hilaire) Derham for forty-two years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frederick and Armande (Bourdeau) Derham.

A high school graduate of St. Raphael Academy, Pawtucket, Mark continued his education at Rhode Island College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in social work. He worked in sales for Astro Chemicals, Springfield, MA, retiring in the fall of 2021. Mark previously worked for John R. Hess & Co. for fifteen years in Cranston. Mark and Jeanne enjoyed spending winters at their home in Florida and enjoyed traveling together. An avid golfer, Mark was a member at Stonegate Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL and Crestwood Country Club in Rehoboth, MA. Above all, Mark enjoyed being with his family, especially spending time with his beloved grandsons.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Tracy L. Churchill and her husband, Geoffrey, of Seekonk and Adam M. Derham and his companion, Sarah Albright, PhD, of Pawtucket; two grandsons, Benjamin and Tyler; two siblings, Susanne Somers and her husband, Dale, of Westerly and Michael Derham and his wife, Charlene, of Johnston and several nieces, nephews and dear friends near and afar.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Ave., Seekonk. Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted. Memorial donations in his memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 would be appreciated.
