Alfred J. Raymond, Jr., 90, of Seekonk, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025. He was the husband of the late Dolores (Phillips) Raymond.

Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Alfred J. and Mary (Werbinski) Raymond. Mr. Raymond graduated from Hope High School in Providence and Northeastern University. He was a Navy veteran and for many years was the Human Resources Manager for the Univis Frame Company. He was also an independent sales representative for locally made gift and garden products.

Mr. Raymond was a devoted family man who took great joy in the adventures of his children and grandchildren. He embraced errands as a chance to befriend members of the community at the bakery, the pharmacy, the bank, and other local institutions. He had an exceptionally good memory for people. He also had an incredible memory and passion for food and liked to swap tips about restaurants or where to find the best donuts, ice cream, or stuffed quahogs and to share the latter with the people in his life. He loved fishing, boating, the beach, or just sitting by Narragansett Bay. He was an avid fan of the Boston sports teams, and also a music enthusiast.

He leaves two daughters, Jennifer Raymond and her husband, Garrick Jauregui, of Portola Valley, CA and Jean Raymond and her husband, Eric Seward, of Kensington, CA and two grandchildren, Ella Jauregui and Grant Jauregui.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
