Hike Heritage Park/Steere Hill Conservation Area!

This winter, join the WRWC’s experienced Recreation Guides and beat the COVID winter blues!

Ring in the New Year with some fresh air on this beautiful northern RI hiking trail! This is a lovely, wide path with rolling hills. On our walk through this section of the Glocester Land Trust’s 447 acre property, we’ll amble through beautiful forest land, pass majestic rock ledges and loop up and around Steere Hill before heading back.

The WRWC staff will safely guide you on nature walks and excursions from Smithfield to Providence, following social distancing guidelines set forth by the State of RI and the City of Providence. Pre-registration is required and each trip is capped at 10 participants. This Winter Recreation Series is made possible with the support of RI Commerce’s “Take It Outside” initiative.
