Vote-By-Mail and Voter Registration Information

If you did not complete a vote-by-mail postcard for the State Primary Election, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Elections Division mailed another vote-by-mail postcard for the November 3, 2026 State Election.

If you would like to vote-by-mail in the State Election, please complete all required sections and sign the postcard before returning it to the Town Clerk’s Office. If the postcard is incomplete or not signed, it cannot be processed.

If you are voting by mail-in ballot, please be sure you print and sign your name on the manilla envelope before returning it to our office. If the manilla envelope is incomplete or not signed, it cannot be processed.

How to Mark Your Ballot

  • Use black ink only
  • Completely fill in the oval next to your choice
  • Do NOT use check marks, X’s, lines, or circles.

Write-In Candidate

If you are voting for a candidate whose name is NOT on the ballot:

  • Print the candidate’s name in the blank space provided
  • Completely fill in the oval for the write-in space.

Do not overvote.

  • To ensure your vote counts, do not vote for more candidates than allowed.

Massachusetts Information for Voters Guide (a/k/a the “Red Book”)
This guide explains the nine (9) statewide questions appearing on the November 3rd State Election ballot.

The Town of Seekonk will have the following binding yes/no vote on a tenth ballot question:

“Shall the Town of Seekonk be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so -called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds issued in order to fund the design, engineering, site preparation, construction, and initial furnishing and equipping of a proposed South End Fire Station to be located at 69 School Street, Seekonk, MA, including all costs incidental or related thereto?”

We encourage every voter to take the time to read the guide, understand the questions, and make an informed decision on each one rather than unintentionally leaving questions blank.

At the back of the book, you’ll find a Voter Checklist where you can mark your choices for the ballot questions and candidate races. You may bring the checklist with you (or take a photo of it) when voting on Election Day or during In-Person Early Voting. Just please be sure to remember to take your checklist with you when you leave the voting booth!
